Gordon ‘attack ad’ a new low

We saw Randy Gordon’s attack ad against Steve Litzow’s claim to be bipartisan. A clip from a Mercer Island Council meeting discussion on the “road diet” was shown, followed by an ambulance and the insinuation that Steve Litzow had caused harm to Mercer Island children. I was thoroughly shocked and disgusted by this distasteful and misleading attack. The political ads we have witnessed lately have sometimes stretched the truth, but Gordon’s attack on Litzow sunk to a new low.

I have not always agreed with all of Steve Litzow’s decisions, but I feel he votes with Islanders’ best interests in mind. He has done a good job on the City Council of being fiscally responsible and keeping spending under control. Steve Litzow supports our schools, cares about our children and protects our pocket books from out-of-control taxes and government spending.

Shame on you, Randy Gordon, for your disgusting attack ad. If there was any question of who I was going to vote for, you made the decision easy: Steve Litzow.
