Mercer Island Special Olympics is extremely pleased to publicly thank Mercer Island Kiwanis for its recent and substantial contribution toward team equipment and uniforms.

It was an honor to be their luncheon speaker and have an opportunity to update the membership on our activities and growing number of athletes. For instance, we have three soccer teams competing at the state Summer Games in June.

Mercer Island Special Olympics offers year-round athletics, including soccer, basketball, bowling, softball and golf. Information is available at www.mispecialolympics.org.

Since our inception over 10 years ago, Kiwanis has been an ardent and loyal contributor in the effort to provide athletic and social opportunities for Mercer Islanders with developmental disabilities. We commend them for their continuous support.
