Let students sleep later

Have you ever woken up in the morning and not wanted to go to school right then? If so, we should fix that! All schools should start one hour later and end one hour later so kids won’t be tired at school and so that they can walk to school when it’s lighter outside. An example of why school should start later is so the students won’t be napping in school. To have a full day’s worth of learning you must get a good sleep so you can stay fully awake in class. For example, some kids like to sleep in, so they would only wake up a little before school and have to get straight out of bed and run out the door. Having school earlier just makes everyone rush and feel drowsy at school.

We should make sure that walkers and bikers are always safe while coming to school in the morning. Especially in the winter, it is darker in the mornings. When it’s dark, kids can’t be seen as well by cars, buses and other vehicles. I hope you agree with me that school should start and end later so the students can learn as much as possible.
