I read Pat Braman’s letter, which was published in the Reporter just before the election in November. Whether you voted for Steve Litzow or not, if you are from this community, you know this about him: he has a “go-forward and get it done” quality that is backed by positive personal relationships and “ground-truthed” community feedback that is real and earned. Hardworking, sincere and, yes, sometimes very direct. But that is just the kind of person to help us govern better — whether it is here in Mercer Island or in the state Legislature.
