Our involvement with the Mercer Island schools regarding the math program has been ongoing for years. It has never worked for our son. If not for our time, money and excellent tutors (beginning at Island Park and then with the Privett math program today), math would be a dead language for our son. Let’s be realistic — grades/GPA do matter. Today’s world is not the Boys & Girls Club. We, like so many other families, are so thankful that we have a program like the Privett Academy. Our son’s SAT/ACT grades speak for themselves.
