Dear Mercer Island citizens: Thank you for your continued support of the MIYFS Food Pantry.

On Saturday, March 28, citizens attending the Spring Recycle Event donated over $1,500 and over 30 bags of groceries to the food pantry. During these especially difficult economic times, it is heartwarming to see Mercer Island citizens step up and provide the same generous level of support for the food pantry as seen during less economically trying years.

“Thank you” to all those who donated on Saturday as well as to the many other Islanders who continue to support the MIYFS Food Pantry throughout the year. Your generous donations have given many Island families somewhere to turn for help from within their own community.
