Mercer Island baseball fields

I play baseball at the Islander Baseball Club, and I wanted to give my compliments to those who maintain the fields. Whenever I play, the fields are always in relatively good condition, the holes in the turf are filled in, and tarps cover the pitching mound and batter’s circle at night. When it rains, signs often ask pedestrians to steer clear of the fields, so that they do not tear the fragile water-logged turf. I just want those who put their time and effort into keeping the fields usable to know that they are doing all who play there a huge favor, and that the work that they do is greatly appreciated. So if you could, please extend my gratitude to them.
