The Mercer Island Community Fund recently awarded two grants to the Mercer Island Youth & Family Services Foundation. A $3,000 grant was awarded for summer camp scholarships for children from low-income families. A $2,320 award was made to institute a Job Finders Club to provide career counseling services and job finding strategies to Mercer Island residents.

The Mercer Island Community Fund continues to support worthy programs and services offered by Youth & Family Services for Mercer Island residents. We wish to publicly thank the Mercer Island Community Fund for its ongoing support, especially in this critical time.

Information on both programs can be obtained by calling Cheryl Manriquez at (206) 275-7869 or by e-mail at Cheryl.manriquez@mercergov.org.
