The third-grade teachers at Island Park Elementary would like to thank the Mercer Island Schools Foundation for its grant. Due to their generosity, we were able to enrich our students’ Social Studies learning experiences and our studies of Native Americans by having Roger Fernandes (artist in residence) come to our classes.

We appreciate the partnership with the foundation and recognize the community’s support of our school.
