Two things

Upon reading the July 1 letters to the editor section, I wondered if the correct page had been inserted in my paper. From what I could tell, the sole letter was from Bellevue, about Bellevue, and referred to a Bellevue Reporter article. When the writer refers to “the city(ies),” I assume he is not referring to Mercer Island. I assume there’s some relevance to Mercer Island, but this is so odd, one must guess. Was this printed in error?

I was glad to see the I-90 detour map ... until I tried reading it. Even with a magnifying glass, I can’t make out the street name in the lower right (to the left of “Mercer Island”), and much of the rest is a problem.

Like no one ever told me, it’s more than the thought that counts.
