I love being in plays at Youth Theater Northwest! It is fun doing plays because I make new friends. It is not only fun for the cast and crew, but also for the people who see these plays.

I have been in three plays so far; “Mr. Popper’s Penguins,” “A Little Princess,” and “Fiddler on the Roof.” I am going to be the orphan, Molly, in the play “Annie,” which opens on July 31. I can’t wait until Opening Night, and I hope everyone will come and see the play. The cast has worked so hard, and you won’t believe how mean Ms. Hannigan can be! And who wouldn’t want to hear Annie sing “Tomorrow?” Isn’t that one of everyone’s favorite songs?

All the kids at the theater would like to thank the Mercer Island City Council for supporting this theater. It means a lot to us. Everyone else can support Youth Theatre Northwest by coming to see “Annie” and the other shows.
