Interesting how the Stagmans’ letter in the Sept. 23 Reporter actually makes Ira’s case — they belittle the people coming up Merrimount and use “citizen government” as a negative. Oh yes, and if the Stagmans are worried about being inconvenienced with a stoplight at Merrimount slowing them down, they should think what it will be like with Island Crest Way being narrowed — talk about slowing down traffic!

Ira got it right again!
