Keep empty garbage and recycle containers off Mercer Island streets

I would like to see our Mercer Island residents taking more responsibility for returning their garbage and recycle containers back off the street on pick-up day. They are such an eyesore if left out. Let’s keep our Mercer Island streets, neat, trim and safe — and at the same time, respect our neighbors.
