Bus terminal is a bad exchange with Sound Transit; urge KCLS to cancel renovation plans for library.
Community Events, September 2014
We all want to keep Youth Theatre Northwest here. But why must it and MICA’s anticipated cultural enclave be at the expense of Mercerdale Park?
The Mercer Island City Council is to be commended for their response to people who advocated Tuesday evening for support for Initiative I-594.
The library is a place that is suppose to be for children to come and congregate to further their education and learn. It is not a smut theater.
The City Council continues on the path of allowing the “uprooting” of the North-end of the Island in exchange for a parking facility. Not a good exchange and one that may not solve the Town Center parking problem.
