The U.S. Lacrosse organization ranked the Mercer Island High School boys lacrosse program as the 21st best in the country for their 2010 season.

The Islanders, who won all their games last year expect the state final against long time rival Bellevue, were listed as one of the top 25 teams in the country, behind school largely from the East Coast or California. MIHS was also listed by Lacrosse Magazine, a publication of U.S. Lacrosse, as the fourth best team on the West Coast. Bellevue was listed at No. 6 on the West Coast.
