The Mercer Island boys basketball game advanced to the KingCo title game on Thursday evening after beating Mount Si 55-46 Tuesday afternoon.

The Islanders, who held the Wildcats scoreless through the first quarter, led the rest of the match, while Mount Si tried to close the gap, which they did late in the game.

The Islanders will now face the winner of tonight's match between Lake Washington and Bellevue for the 3A KingCo title.
