Past and present Mercer Island golfers can gather and play in honor of a longtime coach and teacher during the fourth annual Walmart Gary Adrian Memorial Golf Tournament.

The event honors Adrian, a coach and teacher for 32 years in Bellevue, Mercer Island and the Lake Washington school districts.

This year’s tournament will be held at the West Seattle Golf Course on July 11, with a 2:30 p.m. start time. Funds benefit the First Tee of Great Seattle. In its first three years, the tournament raised over $20,000 for the organization.

The tournament is $100 per player. Visit the First Tee site at www.thefirstteeseattle.org and go to the calendar to learn more and to register for the tournament.
