Three Islanders race in Boston Marathon | Sports brief

Three Mercer Island resident recently competed in the Boston Marathon, held on April 18.

Rhonda Glass finished in 3:10.04 for 253 place in her division. Nathan Shopay finished the race in 3:18.27, with a 7:34 mile pace, while May Cheng did the race in 3:49.39.

The men's race was won by Geoffrey Mutal from Kenya in a time of 2:03.02, while Caroline Kilel, also of Kenya, won the women's race in 2:22.36.
