Islander helps Eastside soccer team to state cup

Mercer Island resident Nalani Ogawa recently played in the State Challenge Cup Championship game with the Eastside Soccer Club (EFC) 12U 98 White team.

The team won the title, beating the FWU Region 98 Purple team 1-0 in overtime. Ogawa plays defense for the EFC team, which allowed no goals during the tournament.
