Over Memorial Day weekend, the Mercer Island select baseball 10U Thunder steam stormed through their competition to win the tournament. The team won five games and the championship.

The bracket consisted of 12 teams from across the state. The Thunder team beat Sammamish Green in the semifinals, winning 9-3. They then beat Kennewick in the title game, 9-1, for the overall win.

The team also won this tournament last year, in the 9U division.
