Interested golfers can still register to play in the annual Walmart Gary Adrian Memorial Golf Tournament on July 11. This year’s event will take place at the West Seattle Golf Course in honor of the longtime coach and teacher. Adrian taught for 32 years in Bellevue, Mercer Island and Lake Washington schools.
The day begins with a shotgun start at 2:30 p.m. and is an 18-hole competition. Registration fees are $100 per person. Proceeds from the event go to First Tee of Seattle. The event will include a dinner after the conclusion of play and an awards ceremony. Raffle prizes will also be given away.
