Eric Dubofsky became the second member of his family to win the 2011 Novice division title at the Northwest Pinball show in June. The eighth-grader at Islander Middle school took the two-day title after earning the top seed over seven games in the qualifying rounds. In the finals he faced three opponents, winning all three to earn the title.

His brother, Garrett, also won the same title in 2008 and 2010.
