The Mercer Island third and fourth grade boys lacrosse team won two tournaments in June.

On June 4, the Islanders won the Plateau Challenge, beating Sammamish, Woodinville, Redmond, Bellevue and Issaquah on their way to the title.

On June 25, the team won the Battle of Bothell, beating Redmond, Lake Tapps, Issaquah and Magnolia to earn the championship.

The team is coached solely by Alex Medlock and T.J. Blackburn, members of the Mercer Island High School lacrosse team.
