The Mercer Little League 9-10 All Stars won the state tournament Monday evening. The Islanders beat District 10's team from Federal way with an 8-5 final score. It was the second time the two teams had played each other during the tournament. Mercer Island beat Federal Way in the semifinals. The Federal Way team then went on to win their next game in the double elimination bracket to earn a spot in the championship game.

Mercer Island is coached by David Sandwith, Robin Fuchs and managed by Keenan Conder. The team includes: Carson Sandwith, Robert Dreyer, Graham Cartwright, Quinn Zakahi, Evan Doty, Matthew Nguyen, Liam Dammeier, Greg Fuchs, Cole Miller, Andrew Jenkins and Teague Conder.
