MIHS boys golf earns first win of season | Sports roundup

The Mercer Island boys golf team picked up it's first win of the season in a conference match against Lake Washington, Liberty and Juanita.

The Islanders earned the win at Wayne Golf Course with a team score of 186, while Lake Washington had 200, Liberty 218 and Juanita 227.

Kevin Liu was the top individual finisher for the Islanders with a 33 stroke afternoon, one below par. Juanita's Frank Garber was second with 34 strokes, James Gendrean of Mercer Island was third with 35, while Lake Washington's JJ Schultz was fourth at 36 and George Suddock of Liberty was fifth with a 37.
