Mercer Island to face Mount Si in KingCo title game | Prep volleyball results

The Mercer Island girls volleyball team will face off against Mount Si one more time this season, playing for the KingCo championship.
The Islanders, playing in the second round of the KingCo tournament on Thursday night, secured a spot in the finals after beating Liberty 3-0.
Liberty, which beat Juanita in the first round, advanced to face the No. 2 seed Islanders. Mercer Island won in three matches 25-19, 25-15, 25-18.
During the win Lorial Yeadon had seven kills, while Rachel Bowdle made 11 digs. Sara Lindquist had eight kills and four aces, while Carly Wilson had 24 assists.
The Islanders, now 13-4 this season, will take on Mount Si on Saturday night at 5:30 p.m. at Sammamish High School. On the line is the No. 1 and No. 2 seeds into next week's SeaKing district tournament with a shot at the 3A state tournament.
