Mercer Island Cross Fit holds Thanksgiving event for food pantry

The Mercer Island Cross Fit is holding a special event on Saturday, Nov. 19 to help bring in donations for the Mercer Island Food Pantry.

The Thanksgiving Throw-down will start at 9:30 a.m. at the MI Crossfit gym located at the Stroum Jewish Community Center. The class is open to the public and for all skill levels.

The suggested donation is one bag of food. The group hopes to bring in up to 30 bags to be given to the food pantry.
