Northwest Yeshiva girls basketball prepares for regionals

The Northwest Yeshiva girls basketball team has advanced to the 1B girls regional basketball tournament, after finishing in third place during the district tournament.
The 613s will play their first regional game on Saturday, Feb. 25 at Timberline High School against Mary M. Knight.
To qualify for the state regional tournament, Northwest Yeshiva beat Lopez 56-30 for third place on Monday, Feb. 20.
The team is 20-3 overall this season.
To earn a place in next week's 1B state tournament, held at the Spokane Arena starting March 1, the 613s will have to win Saturday's event.
