Mercer Island girls blow past Overlake | Prep lacrosse results

The Mercer Island girls lacrosse team powered past Overlake on Monday night with a 21-9 season-opening win.
Elena Skouras scored nine goals, a career high for the senior.
The Islanders had 10 goals in the first, holding a 10-4 lead going into the second half, followed by 11 goals in the fourth.
Dulce Moll added three goals and an assist during the game, while Tyler Sherper had three goals, an assist and four ground balls. Madison Blackburn had two goals, while Katie Harris added two. Natalie Marques added one, as did Saffron Snethen. Goalie Erika Eagan had five save, while Andrea Hatsukami had two.
The Islanders will face Bellevue East, the 2011 Division II champions on Wednesday, March 14 at Robinswood Park.
