Islanders finished annual St. Patrick’s Day Dash

Fifty-seven Islanders braved the wind and snow in last weekend's St. Patricks Day Dash in downtown Seattle.

A total of 7,542 runners ran the approximately 4 mile-long race, 56 percent of which were women.

The top Island runner was Nick Ford who finished 8th overall with a time of 18:29 at a pace of 5:05 minutes per mile. The next Islander to cross the finish line was Molly O'Callahan who finished 196th overall and placed 30th out of all female runners. Uli Steidl finished first with a time of 17.23 minutes.

The average finishing time for all runners was 38.33 minutes.
