Jake Michael’s hat trick lifts Mercer Island over Bellevue | Prep boys soccer results

The Mercer Island boys soccer team picked up a big KingCo victory on Friday night, beating Bellevue 6-0 at home, thank in part to a hat trick by Jake Michael.
The Islanders, now 2-1 in league and 4-1 overall, scored the first goal in the 10th minute when Michel connected with Alberto Perez. Two minutes later it was 2-0 for the Islanders when Peter Clark scored off an assist by Jordan Morris. Morris scored his own unassisted goal in the 17th minute, followed by another goal from Michael, this time assisted by Morris.
In the second half, Michael hit two more, both assisted by Morris. His second goal came in toe 51st minute, followed by the third in the 72nd minute.
The Islanders will travel to Liberty on Friday, April 6 for a 7:30 p.m. game.
