Mercer Island falls in first KingCo match | Prep baseball

The Mercer Island baseball team, playing in the first KingCo match of the season, lost to Juanita on Monday afternoon.

The Rebels won 3-1 at Lee Johnson Field in Kirkland.

The Islanders, now 1-3 this season, will take on defending state champions Mount Si on Wednesday at 4:30 p.m. before hosting Lake Washington on Friday, April 6 at 7 p.m.
