Mercer Island falls in two non-league games | Boys prep lacrosse

Traveling to New York during their annual spring break trip, the Mercer Island boys lacrosse team lost to two powerhouses in two of three games.

The Islanders faced Sachem North on Saturday, March 31, losing 13-8.

Monday evening the team played Ward Melville, a perennial national powerhouse.  Mercer Island lost 18-0.

The team will play Comsewogue on Tuesday at 4 p.m. PST in the final game of the trip.

Next week, the Islanders will travel to Tahoma to play on Tuesday, April 10 in a 7 p.m. game before hosting King’s Way on Saturday, April 14 at MIHS at 3 p.m.
