Mercer Island shuts out Lake Washington | Boys prep soccer results

The Mercer Island boys soccer team earned a huge shut out win over Lake Washington on Friday night at the Kangs home stadium. The team won 8-0.

Islander goalie Sam Miller was credited with the shutout.

The game started when Alex Wood scored the first goal, assisted by Jordan Morris in the third minute, followed by a Josh Lee goal, again assisted by Morris in the sixth minute.

In the 11th minute Jeremy Chow scored off an Alex Wood assist, followed by Morris’ first goal of the night, this time assisted by Alberto Perez in the 26th minute. He hit the mark again, assisted by Wood in the 39th minute of the game.

To finish off the game, Morris scored his third goal, again assisted by Perex 63 minutes into the match, followed by one final goal, this time by Wood, assisted by Nate Umlauf in the 73rd minute.

The Islanders will host Juanita on Tuesday, April 17 at 7:30 p.m.
