Mercer Island takes down Ballard | Prep girls lacrosse

The Mercer Island girls lacrosse team earned a dominating win over Ballard on Monday evening, beating the visiting team 18-5.
The Islanders were up 11-3 at the end of the first half, followed by seven more points in the second half, while holding Ballard to just two.
Elena Skouras had six goals during the win, while Tyler Sherper had four goals, three assists and two ground balls. Katie Harris added two goals and a draw control, while Taylor Dahlgren had two goals, two draw controls and Erika Eagan made four saves.
The Islanders, how 8-2-1 this season, will play Seattle Prep in the final game of the regular season on Thursday, May 3 in a 3:45 p.m. game at Magnuson Park in Seattle.
