Mercer Island begins playoffs against Holy Names | Prep girls lacrosse

The Mercer Island girls lacrosse team will begin the post season this week, with a game against Holy Names on Tuesday, May 8.

The Islanders will play at Mercer Island High School starting at 6 p.m.

The winner of the game moved forward to play the winner of the Issaquah vs. Klayowya game on Friday, May 11.

The Islanders finished as the top team in the Alki conference with a 9-2-1 record.

Holy Names was the No. 3 team in the conference, with a 6-6-0 record. The teams played on Thursday, April 19 with Mercer Island winning 18-3.
