All-State lacrosse honors for five Islanders | Sports brief

Five members of the Mercer Island boys lacrosse team earned 2012 All-State honors in Division I.

Of the five, Connor Bernal earned the honor for the third time, being named to the first team. Brent Tsang was also named to the first team, while Chase York earned second team honors as a sophomore. Grant Preisler, a junior, and Alex Robbs, a senior, were named to the All-State third team.
