The EBI Lioness AAU girls basketball won the Reno Jam on It championship at the end of May.

The team includes players from around the Eastside, including Mercer Island resident Anna Luce.

The EBI Lioness team was 4-0 throughout the tournament, beating teams from Nevada, California and winning the title game against Northern California Heat. The team has played together for the last two years, in the fall and spring. The team travels, largely to out of town tournaments in cities like Spokane, Oregon, Yakima and Reno. Next year the team plans to play in Southern California.

The Lionesses are coached by Felicia Johnson.
