The Mercerwood Shore Club swim team won the Midlakes league championship during the league meet held at the King County Aquatic Center in late July.

The win is the team's eighth in the last 10 years, all under head coach Alice Godfred.

At the championship meet, the Mercerwood team had almost 100 swimmers competing in every age group.
