Mercer Island beats Lake Washington | Prep volleyball

Mercer Island, playing it’s first KingCo conference match, beat Lake Washington Thursday evening 3-0.

The Islanders had three convincing wins over the Kangs 25-13, 25-9, 25-13.

Brooke Behrbaum had 11 blocks during the games, while Kris Brackmann had seven blocks. Carly Wilson earned 28 assists, with Lorial Yeadon adding 13 digs and six aces. Jemma Yeadon had 10 kills for the team.

Dana Hassert had seven kills for Lake Washington.

The Islanders will host Sammamish on Tuesday at 7 p.m. while Lake Washington will take on Bellevue at 7 p.m. on Tuesday.
