Mercer Island defeats Sammamish | Prep volleyball

The Mercer Island girls volleyball team notched their third win of the season on Tuesday night, beating Sammamish 3-0 in KingCo play.

The Islanders won three games 25-8, 25-10 and 25-12.

During the games, Sara Lindquist had 13 kills, Kelly Logie added 16 assists, Lottie MacAulay posted eight blocks and senior Carly Wilson had 13 assists and eight aces.

The team will host Interlake on Thursday night in a 7 p.m. Kingco match.
