Mercer Island downs Liberty in three games | Prep volleyball

The Mercer Island girls volleyball team traveled to Liberty on Thursday, Sept. 20 for a KingCo match. The Islanders won 3-0 in 25-10, 25-19 and 25-16 games.

During the games Sara Lindquist had 12 kills, while Kris Brackmann added 10 kills and four aces. Lorial Yeadon had eight kills and Carly Wilson posted 27 assists.

The team will host Mount Si on Monday, Sept. 24 in a KingCo showdown. The Islanders are 5-0 in league and 7-0 overall, while the Wildcats are also 5-0 in league and 5-0 overall.
