Mercer Island beats Liberty | Boys prep golf

The Mercer Island boys golf team beat Liberty on Monday, Oct. 1. The Islanders won 195-213.

Individually, Zach Evans took first place with 37 strokes on the par 36 course. Josh Graham and Eric Kim tied for second place with 38, while Liberty’s Colin Brown was fourth with 40. Sam Veron, Will Medlock and Luke Mounger tied with Liberty’s Rolan Deex for fifth place with a score of 41.

The Islanders will travel to Wayne Golf Course in Bothell on Wednesday, Oct. 3 for a match against Juanita, before hosting Mount Si on Thursday, Oct. 4 at Twin Rivers Golf Course.
