Mercer Island remains undefeated, beats Lake Washington | Girls prep soccer

The Mercer Island girls soccer team remained undefeated on Thursday evening, beating Lake Washington 1-0 in the team’s seventh shutout of the season.

Jamie Mounger earned the only goal of the evening, in the second half, assisted by Marissa Hammerstrom in the 60th minute. Corey Goelz earned the shutout.

The Islanders will travel to play Sammamish on Tuesday, Oct. 9 at 7:30 p.m.
