Mercer Island falls to Mount Si | Prep girls soccer

The Mercer Island girls soccer team lost to Mount Si on Tuesday, Oct. 23. The Wildcats won 2-1.
Marissa Hammerstrom was the first to score, hitting the mark off an assist from Michele Day in the 32nd minute, to give the Islanders a 1-0 lead.
It wasn’t until the second half when Mount Si’s Kelsey Lindor scored the first of two goals. Her first, in the 60th minute, was assisted by Miranda Rawlings. The duo scored again in the 67th minute t o seal the win for Mount Si.
Mercer Island will travel to Bellevue on Thursday, Oct. 25 for a 7:30 p.m. game.
