Mercer Island completes regular season undefeated | Prep volleyball

The Mercer Island volleyball team finished out the regular season on Tuesday night beating Bellevue 3-0. The Islanders won 25-11, 25-10 and 25-16.
Mercer Island ended the regular season with a 13-0 league record and 16-0 overall.
Against the Wolverines, Kris Brackmann had eight kills, three blocks and three aces, while Sara Lindquist added 10 kills, 3 aces and Kelly Logie had 26 assists. Lottie MacAulay had nine kills and four blocks, while Jemma Yeadon added eight kills and 10 digs.
The Islanders begin the KingCo tournament on Thursday evening at Sammamish High School. The Islanders, the No. 1 seed, will play the winner of the Liberty vs. Bellevue match at 7:30 p.m. The winner of that match goes on to the championship on Saturday, Oct. 27 at 5:30 p.m. A loss would move the team into the third/fourth place game at 3 p.m. at Sammamish on Saturday.
