The Islander Middle School wrestling team won the league tournament in December.

The Islander Middle School varsity wrestling team won the league tournament on Dec. 18 in front of a home crowd. The Gators took the title with a team score of 208 points, while Twin Falls finished in second place with 193 points.
The team includes: Matt Hubbard, Nathaniel Shenk, Jonah Andrews, Mitch Woolston, Tristin Rambaldini, Kevin Peterson, Derrick Hicks, Cameron Warnick, David Pritchard, Parket Kittilsby, Jacob Guedel, Miles Piha, Bob Kaplan, Donnie Howard, Finn Childress, Dominique Giampapa, Oliver Lee, Russell Asmus, Teague Frazier and Cole Nielsen.
The team was coached this season by Ryan Hoisington, John Frazier and Jim Richards.
