Mercer Island beats Interlake | Girls prep basketball

The Mercer Island girls basketball team beat Interlake on Friday, Jan. 18 57-23.
Mercer Island was up 27-14 at halftime, and added 12 points in the third quarter and 18 in the fourth while keeping the Saints to just 11 points in the second half.
Sur Johnson scored 10 points for Mercer Island, Christina Williamson added nine, while both Kris Brackmann and Rachael Tessem had eight points. Arianna Moscatel had six points during the game, and Jessica Blakeslee
and Renae Tessem scored four points. Julia Blumenstein and Yasmeen El-Rafey scored three points and Marlo Cafarelli added two.
Mercer Island will travel to play Mount Si on Wednesday, Jan. 23 at 7:30 p.m.
