Inaugural Washington State Cup gets underway March 24 | Sports brief

The first ever Washington State Cup, bringing together some of Washington's top water polo club programs, will begin on Sunday, March 24.
The Cup will play games on a Sunday for three months to determine who is the top club water polo team in the state. Six teams from around the greater Puget Sound area will compete in a group play round, followed by a bracket tournament. The final Sunday, May 19 will feature teams playing for first, third and fifth places.
Bainbridge Island, Rain City Water Polo, Rain City Master, Seattle Otters, Seattle Water Polo and Tacoma Water Polo will compete in the event, held at Rogers Pool in Puyallup.
