Coach: Ryan Hall

Number of athletes: 13

Last season: The Islanders were third in the state tournament. The team finished the season with a 6-5 record.

Strengths: “I think our greatest strength will be that most of our starters have played together for the last three years,” said Hall. “They all have a strong awareness of each other’s strengths and weaknesses and are very comfortable playing with one another.”

Focus: “Our focus early on this season will be to try and bring our newer players up to speed with our more experienced athletes,” said the coach.

Captains: Christina Williamson, Kristin Hoffman and Jenna Sharman.

Game to watch: Newport.

“Our game against Newport is a good one to go to,” said Hall. The Islanders will take on the Knights on April 19.
